It is the future, a near future, evidenced by a new atmosphere, new fears and a lifestyle laced with paranoia. There
is an uneasiness underneath the stoicism seen on the faces and places around the city; things are unspoken.
New York City never recovered from 9/11. People are desperate to feel safe, questioning their allegiance to a
Nation that seemed to have failed them.
The days and weeks that followed saw a reemergence of forgotten ideologies and ancient superstitions; ghostly
murmurs speaking of creating a better world. New threats flourished undetected by an increasingly distracted
Government. "They" can be anyone.
In the City, a curfew, identification checks and surveillance become common. Dissension grows and shadowy
groups thrive in the environment, recruiting and teaching new lessons; dangerous lessons.
Corporations vie for control with a government in disarray, and religion becomes a haven for those without a
voice. Things have gotten dark.
ADAM CHRISTOPHER is a law officer. He is a victim of these 'new world ghosts'. A case leads him into a new
and unexpected threat. What's real and what isn't blurs and he is left questioning his sanity. He jeopardizes his
credibility with the Law and those who have trusted him as he pursues a truth he knows will vindicate him.
